Welcome to History

Here at St Peter's we intend to create an inclusive History curriculum which enables all of our children to aspire to BEE Historians and equips them with the skills to ask perceptive questions, think critically, weigh evidence, sift arguments and develop perspective and judgement. We offer a high-quality history education which helps our children gain coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain's past and that of the wider world. We hope it inspires our childrens' curiosity about the past, understand the complexity of people's lives, the process of change, the diversity of societies, relationships between different groups, as well as their own identity and the challenges of their time.
