Welcome to Miss McHugh's Class Page!
Here you will find some useful information for the year ahead.
This term we will be covering the following:
Maths: Fractions, decimals and percentages, BODMAS, calculating the mean, ratio and proportion, algebra, pie charts and line graphs, SATs revision

Remember PE is on Thursday afternoon so please make sure your outdoor kit is in school on this day.
Homework is given out on a Friday and due back the following Thursday. I always have spare copies of the homework in my classroom, so make sure you ask for it if you weren't here when it was given out or have misplaced it. I will always help with any homework questions if you ask before the Friday it is due in.
From Friday 8th March 2019, SATs boosters for Year 6 will begin. They will also be given SATs weekly homework to complete for the booster sessions. More information about this will be given at a SATs parents' meeting. Date to be confirmed.

- 25th February 2019 (for six weeks) - Monday afternoon swimming lessons start
- 5th March 2019 - World Book Day (dress up) and Deadly 60 workshop
- 18th March and 20th March 2019 - Parents' Evenings (by appointment only)
- 13th - 16th May 2019 - KS2 SATs
- 22nd - 24th May 2019 - Year 6 residential to Whitby
