Like chess? Want to play? Learn, improve strategy and challenge your friends to a game of chess with Mrs Archer Dytch on a Monday lunchtime!
Sessions are filled with good food, plenty of hands-on experience and are great fun! Classes are designed with little chefs in mind and each week your child will learn to cook something different, including both sweet and savoury recipes.
Each child has their own work station of equipment and creates their own delicious dish from scratch. They take their dish home along with a recipe card to keep.
Children will be kept entertained whilst the dishes are cooking, sometimes with a craft activity and each week they will enjoy a snack.
The classes provide everything your child will need – aprons, ingredients, equipment and packaging to take their dish home.
Open to children in Years 1-6 on a Monday and Tuesday after school.

Most lunchtimes, our Mindfulness playground is open to Year 2-6 for a different kind of lunchtime play. Children can: bring a book, just talk to friends, recharge (even have a little nap), bring their own notepad to draw and write, read their diary planner (many useful facts and knowledge items of interest in there), organise their week ahead, reflect on their day or simply just relax.
Our trained Playground Leaders run active playground games such as skipping zone, hopscotch zone and beanbag throwing accuracy zone. Encouragement is our playground key word.
For children from Year 2 upwards! Available every lunchtime in the library with Mrs Smith (with a maximum of 3 visits per week to make sure you have outside time too ).
