    Active Allstars PE Club

    Get active, have fun, and enjoy a variety of exciting sports and games at Active Allstars PE Club with Mr Tomlinson and Miss Waghorn! Held on the field on a Tuesday lunchtime, KS2 children can take part in rounders, cricket, races, and many other energetic activities while developing teamwork, confidence, and sporting skills in a fun and friendly environment.

    Archery

    Great for physical and mental strength, Archery club is run by Mr Tomlinson and Mrs Morrell on a Monday after school in the hall during Autumn Term 1 and the Spring Term, for children in years 5-6. Book via Arbor or contact the school office for further information. 

     

    Cross Country

    KS2 children - get your running shoes on and join Miss Waghorn every Friday lunchtime for our Cross Country sessions! Build your stamina, enjoy the fresh air, and have fun with friends as you take on our exciting Cross Country Marathon Challenge.

    Complete 26 sessions to earn your Marathon Medal — with Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards up for grabs!

    Football Skills (ACE Sports Coaching)

    Get ready for fun and action-packed football sessions filled with games, challenges, and skill-building activities! ACE Sports Coaching's programme is designed to build confidence, improve coordination, and develop key football skills in an enjoyable and supportive environment.

    The focus is on teamwork, passing, goalkeeping, and overall game understanding—while making sure everyone has a great time. Held on the field on a Monday lunchtime over 2 sessions, for Y5&6 and Y3&4.

    Golf

    Golf club is the perfect chance to learn new skills, build confidence, and enjoy the great outdoors! Fun and friendly sessions introduce children to the basics of golf through games, challenges, and plenty of practice on Thursday lunchtimes on Butts field. 

    Come along, give it a swing, and discover a new sport to love with Mr Tomlinson and Mrs Gilmour!

    Year 6 children will have the opportunity to take part in Autumn Half Term 1, and Years 5 and 4 children can have a go in the summer!

    To sign up for our sports clubs and activities, please read the 'Booked Activities information sheet' and complete the 'Booked Activities' online form for relevant free activities or sign up directly on the links provided for external coaches.

    Multi-Sports (ACE Sports Coaching)

    Add some excitement to Thursday lunchtime with our fun and active multi-sports sessions held on the field! Each week, children will take part in a variety of engaging activities designed to keep them moving, build confidence, and develop key physical skills.

    Open to children in Years 1-4, the sessions introduce a range of sports including basketball, tennis, football, and cricket, helping children explore new activities in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

    From dribbling and passing to hitting, throwing, and teamwork games, every session is packed with opportunities to learn, improve, and have fun during the school day.

    Safety

    Swimming

    Subsidised swimming lessons are offered to children in years 4-6 who may benefit from coaching in order to meet the National Standards in Water Safety, before leaving Primary School. This takes place over 5 weekly sessions, in the spring term. 

    Table Tennis

    Develop quick thinking, coordination and confidence whilst enjoying table tennis coaching on a Friday morning 7.30-8.30am, led by Gordon Fearn (level 4 table tennis coach and tutor). Children will need their own table tennis bat please. If your child is interested, please let the office know and we'll arrange a trial session!

    Congratulations to the U11 Girls Team who finished as Runner-Up in the 2025/2026 Table Tennis Schools Team Area Finals event!

    Tennis Skills (ACE Sports Coaching) - KS1

    Tennis is a fantastic way to stay active while improving coordination, agility, balance and confidence. ACE Sports Coaching sessions focus on developing key skills through fun games and activities in a supportive and encouraging environment where children can learn, progress and enjoy playing with their friends.

    All equipment is provided, so children just need to come ready to take part.

    These playground sessions (hall when wet!) are open to children in Reception to Year 2, providing a fun introduction to the game.

    Please ensure your child brings a nut-free snack, a drink to stay hydrated, and suitable sportswear and trainers.

    Tennis Coaching (East Bridgford Tennis Club) - KS2

    Join Coach Phil on the tennis courts every Thursday lunchtime for an exciting KS2 Tennis Club! Children will develop their tennis skills through fun games, challenges, and matches while improving their coordination, agility, and teamwork. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time or looking to improve your game, this club is a great way to stay active, build confidence, and have fun with friends. 🎾
