Rushcliffe Sainsbury's School Games Biathlons.
On the 14th October 16 children from Year 5 and 6 took part in the first S.S.G. Rushcliffe Mini Biathlon at South Notts Academy. Each team of 4 girls and 4 boys ran 400 metres after first swimming 25 metres. As expected, all children gave their best and were spectacular but some noteworthy performances in the pool from Kyle, Lizzie and Anna. Oliver proved it was possible to run, swim and smile non stop, well done!
A week later it was the turn of the Year 3 and Year 4 pupils to show that they too are stars in the pool and on the track! A fantastic effort from all the children who took part. Miss Brownley and Mr Copestake were very impressed by the way that everyone encouraged and cheered on their team mates demonstrating true St. Peter's spirit.
