Home Learning Week 1 (4.01.2021)

In your Home Learning Exercise Book you should aim to complete one piece of Maths, one piece of English and one piece of Topic work per day. You should write the date, the LO or title as we do in class, leave a line and begin your work. If you are printing sheets, you may stick them in your book in a Take Care way, or copy from the screen making sure you write your question number, equation and answer clearly.

Please find all work for the week commencing 4th January detailed below.

English work for week commencing 4th January 2021: 2020 Time Travellers

Tuesday - My Christmas Holiday - Emoji Style!

I know you will be bursting to tell us all about your Christmas holidays, especially if you didn't get chance yesterday! Can you do this by mostly using emojis? We started this yesterday in class - do you have access to a tablet/laptop/phone where you can improve on this today, write a second chapter or tell me something you didn't manage to yesterday? You may choose to do this in your home learning handbook or on a computer/tablet, but whatever you use, make sure it is clear and makes sense. I have written the start of my Christmas day memory and included an example of how you might do this is in the resources section below.

Wednesday - Time Travellers - Back to 2020 - My Year in Review

Well, 2020 was a rollercoaster wasn't it! Today, can you create a doodle page showcasing your 2020? I have included some example pages in the resources section to give you an idea of how to do this. Go crazy with information and colour, really personalise it. Yes you can use a whole page, even a double spread if you feel like it. Express yourself!

Thursday - Time Travellers - Back to 2020 - Change & Grow

If you could change or relive one moment of your 2020, what would it be? This should be a written piece detailing what your memory is, who was there, where you were, when it took place, why you want to change or relive it and how you could or would do this.

Friday - Time Travellers - Look to the future! New Year's Resolutions

Many people look to a new year with hope and a fresh, clean outlook. What do you hope to achieve this year? Use the template in the resources section to help you, or use this for inspiration to write your own in your home learning handbook.
