Geography Rationale

“A high quality geography education should inspire in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.” DfE 

At East Bridgford St Peter’s C. of E Academy, we aim to enable pupils to become global citizens of the future and guardians of the planet through exciting and progressive geography that is questioning, dynamic, challenging and relevant to the real world. The role of geography at EB St. Peter’s is to help children to understand the world, its environments, places near and far, and the processes that create and affect them.
