This term our topics have been Stargazers and now Time Travellers. Both have involved movement in time and Stargazers took us to another galaxy. Your challenge is to write a guide for an alien or being from another time who is coming to earth for Christmas. You will need to say why we celebrate Christmas, detail what happens in the lead up to Christmas Day and then describe the big day itself. Don't forget to include what people might eat, the chap in the red suit (perhaps), trees, decorations, customs (including church and Christingle), Advent Calendars, weather, presents - well, just about everything! Remember that your visitor will never, ever have experienced anything like this before so make it as informative and interesting as possible! Any diagrams or illustrations would really help make your guide user friendly! Have fun and do your best!
