We are delighted to offer our children a broad, balanced and exciting curriculum, carefully planned to inspire curiosity, develop a love of learning and provide memorable experiences. Each half term, our learning is organised around an engaging theme, giving children opportunities to explore new ideas, make connections between different subjects and deepen their understanding of the world around them.

Our themes provide a starting point for learning across the curriculum, while ensuring that children develop the knowledge, skills and vocabulary they need to become confident and independent learners. Alongside the theme, we make sure there is a strong balance of learning across all areas, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, the arts, physical development, computing, humanities and personal, social and emotional development.

We believe children learn best when they are excited, curious and actively involved. Our curriculum therefore includes opportunities to investigate, create, explore, ask questions, solve problems and learn through real-life experiences. We also carefully build on previous learning so that children develop their knowledge and understanding as they move through the school.

Most importantly, we want our curriculum to create a sense of wonder and excitement about learning, helping every child to discover their interests, develop their strengths and build the foundations for a successful future.
