As we have been learning about the changing seasons and the arrival of Autumn, the children enjoyed creating their own pieces of transient art using natural materials such as leaves, sticks, stones and fallen apples. Inspired by the work of artist Andy Goldsworthy, they carefully arranged the materials to create beautiful patterns and designs, thinking about colour, shape, texture and pattern. The children enjoyed exploring nature creatively and celebrating the wonderful colours and materials that the school gardens has to offer.
