East Bridgford St Peters Out of School Club

Introduction
The school first opened the club in 1997. Due to a change in legislation, in 2000, it was then transferred to a committee of parents, a school governor and the headteacher to manage collaboratively. The club accepts only St Peters school children during term-time and any child of primary school age during the holidays. There are places for forty children at any one time and we ensure that the staff:child ratio complies with Ofsted regulations.

Staff
The staff currently employed to take charge of the day to day running of the club are:
Manager - Louise Benson
Deputy managers – Kay Haslam and Jennifer Smith
Play worker (full-time) – Carol Lupton
Casual staff – Nick, Lima and Iain

Opening hours (Monday to Friday)
During term-time the club is open between: 7:45 - 8:40 am and 3:30 - 6:00pm
School holidays and In-service training days: 7:45am – 6:00pm
The school club is closed on Bank Holidays.

Bookings
Places are booked on a monthly basis, one month in advance, on a booking form located outside the Green Room door. The forms are returned, with payments, to Denise Monkman in the school office. If we are over subscribed, we take bookings from long-term regular users first and then fill available places with new or irregular users. If we still have places available these can be booked at short notice through the school office.

Cost
The cost per session is:
Term-time: £1.80 per morning and £5.25 per afternoon
Holidays: £15 per day
The cost includes breakfast in the morning and snacks in the afternoon. Children bring a packed lunch with them during holidays.
