Hello, we are your School Council! Ewan, Luke, Harry, Claudia, Elizabeth, Jack, Anya, Nuala, William, Sam, Caitlin, Edward, Hannah, Alex and Imogen. We look forward to being the best School Council ever!
This Year's School Council is working well and has already raised over £375 for the Jeans for Genes day by hosting a very successful cake, toy sale and non uniform day. Amazing giant pumpkin grower Josh Kendrick raised another £25 by holding a 'Guess the weight of the Pumpkin' competition. Well done Josh, a boy who wanted to make a difference and did! This was the very same pumpkin that won first prize at Flintham Ploughing Match. All I know is that it was heavier than Mr Maynard, our site manager; I could lift him but not the pumpkin. Thank you to everyone who made this event such a big success.
Don't forget to look out for our new School Council noticeboard, currently being developed by Year 5 and 6.
